Si è accesa la terza stella del cartellone di Città dellanotte ieri sera 
ad Augusta: Massimo Lopez con il suo “Ciao Frankie”, un one-man-show, ci ha regalato una serata davvero speciale, di un ottimo livello artistico e musicale: 100 minuti per non dimenticare, per testimoniare il valore di quanto, umanamente e artisticamente, ci ha lasciato Frank Sinatra che, per oltre 65 anni ha costituito un’epoca della musica con il suo swing indimenticabile.
L’attenta regia è di Giorgio Lopez, grande doppiatore (è la voce di Danny De Vito e di Dustin Hoffman), che è riuscito a far vibrare, con questo spettacolo, una nuova corda interpretativa del fratello Massimo. Lo spettacolo si snoda attraverso 21 brani del repertorio più famoso di “the voice”, da “I have got you under my skin” a New York, New York” e “My way” con cui ha concluso la sua performance affiancato, sul palcoscenico, da una vera orchestra di altissimo livello composta da 8 strumentisti e due “vocalists” a cui Lopez ha dato spazio duettando con ognuno di loro: la “Big Band Jazz Company” diretta dal maestro Gabriele Comeglio.
Lopez, per tutta la durata dello spettacolo, non solo ha ripercorso la carriera musicale di Sinatra ma, tra un brano e l’altro, ci ha intrattenuto con gags e divertenti monologhi nello stile di quelli che, negli anni, lo hanno reso noto in televisione da cui, comunque, prende le distanze, come ha affermato lui stesso in uno dei momenti della serata. Ci ha proposto le sue imitazioni più celebri, da Mons. Tonini a Maurizio Costanzo e poi tutti i pontefici più recenti da papa Luciani a Woityla a Ratzinger e tanti altri ancora.
